Kybella® / Mesotherapy

Kybella® is an FDA-approved treatment that has become a highly popular way to eliminate a double chin and other areas of stubborn fat on the body. Mesotherapy involves injecting a substance that dissolves fat into the chin or neck region. Kybella®, also known as deoxycholic acid, is a drug injected under your chin to reduce your unwanted double chin. People typically have up to six treatments with a month in between. The number of treatments will depend on the patient and the areas being treated. Kybella® usually produces results between four and six weeks after application. Deoxycholic acid is a popular choice because it cannot produce new ones once the fat cells are destroyed.
