In her spare time, you can find Sam four wheeling up north, checking fields with her husband and two sons, hatching chicks, DIYing around her house, or getting her lashes and a pedi done!
Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Injector/Owner
Samantha (Sam) grew up in Spicer, MN, and graduated from New London-Spicer High School. She is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in multiple specialties, including long-term care, acute care/hospital settings, homecare, aesthetics, education, and correctional healthcare.
As the owner and lead provider at Bloom MedSpa, Sam founded the practice with a mission to help people feel more confident and build their self-esteem. Over time, she has expanded Bloom to focus on personalized, patient-centered care, ensuring every client feels truly heard, valued, and relaxed. She believes in taking the time to slow down, offering extended appointment times, and maintaining a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
In addition to running Bloom, Sam also works part-time as a Family Nurse Practitioner in correctional healthcare, providing essential medical care in a unique and challenging setting.
When she’s not at Bloom or working in correctional healthcare, Sam stays busy chasing after her two young sons, exploring new recipes, four-wheeling on Minnesota’s scenic trails, crossing off “bucket list” experiences, or planning her next vacation.
Dr. Huggins was born in South Carolina and moved to the midwest to settle in Oshkosh, WI as a child. She obtained her medical degree at the University of South Carolina and completed her residency in Family Practice in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Moving to the central Minnesota area gave Laura, her husband Christian, and three daughters the opportunity to live the country life with a hobby farm where they all enjoy caring for and raising animals, gardening, and taking on various home projects.
Laura has always had an artistic eye and got her first taste of aesthetic medicine many years ago by being a patient herself. The industry intrigued her and motivated her to learn more about aesthetic practices. With her creative, artistic eye Laura has found her niche with dermal fillers and enjoys “sculpting” the faces of her patients in a natural and tasteful manner.
In her spare time you can find Laura spending time with her family, tending to her hobby farm, reading, gardening, or using her hands to cook and craft.
Jess is a Wadena, MN native who has always had a passion for medicine. She graduated from WDC and went on to further her education at NDSU to become a radiologic technologist. She joined the Army after graduating from NDSU where she was trained to be a medical laboratory technician.
While in the Army, she learned firsthand about the PA profession and knew that’s what she wanted to do. After finishing her Army enlistment, she attended Augsburg University and earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies.
Jess was first introduced to aesthetics through her friendship with Sam. Her favorite service is Botox because it has so many different health indications.
Advanced Nurse Injector
Beth is one of our Registered Nurses with over a decade of experience in the nursing field. Specializing in the dynamic areas of Emergency Medicine and Aesthetics, she serves as one of our Advanced Nurse Injectors and has been with Bloom since day one! With comprehensive training spanning the country, Beth is equipped with the latest treatments and techniques to provide a luxurious experience for her clients.
Beth’s preferred services include laser treatments, microneedling, dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, and IV therapy, all designed to enhance well-being and beauty. Residing in the Alexandria area, she shares her life with her fiancé Landon, and their two fur babies (Sadie & Bo).
When not at Bloom, Beth enjoys spending time at the lake, refurbishing vintage furniture, and cherishing moments with her family.
Advanced Nurse Injector
Shay grew up in New London, MN, and graduated from New London-Spicer High School in 2009. She followed in her mother’s footsteps to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, earning her RN through Ridgewater College and her BSN from MSU Moorhead. With over a decade of nursing experience, Shay’s journey includes working in a Critical Access Hospital in various roles, including Charge Nurse, and in a local clinic’s Pediatric Department. Currently, she enjoys the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room at Carris Health in Willmar and here at Bloom MedSpa, providing a wide range of services to help clients look and feel their best.
Shay has been with Bloom MedSpa since it’s very beginning, when it was just an idea. She has been an integral part of its growth, embracing new education and training while building strong connections with patients. Watching Bloom evolve into a thriving MedSpa has been one of her greatest joys.
As a wife and mother to three active boys immersed in year-round sports and a young daughter exploring both sports and dance, Shay embraces a dynamic family life filled with outdoor adventures and activity. She balances her busy schedule with her passion for advancing her career and has recently returned to school to pursue her Nurse Practitioner degree. This next step will enable her to support Bloom MedSpa as a provider, continuing to expand services and enhance patient care.
Shay is deeply committed to her clients at Bloom, combining her extensive clinical experience with a passion for aesthetics and wellness. She takes pride in helping patients feel their best and is excited to grow alongside the MedSpa and its wonderful community.

Haily grew up in New London graduating from New London – Spicer. She’s been a registered nurse for 10 years now, working primarily in same day surgery within the hospital. She lives on a hobby farm and enjoys doing anything outdoors, being active, and spending time with friends & family. She has always had a passion for helping people and cannot wait to help you look and feel the best!
Nurse Injector
Haley grew up in Renville, MN, and graduated from RCW in 2009. She earned her nursing degree from NDSU in 2014 and has since gained 11 years of experience in the field. For eight years, Haley worked in the medical/surgical inpatient hospital setting before transitioning to Aesthetics, where she found her true passion. She completed her injector training at the Aesthetiq Institute in Minneapolis.
With a deep passion for overall wellness and skin health, Haley is dedicated to helping others feel their most confident self. Her favorite services include anti-wrinkle injections, microneedling, laser treatments and sculptra. She aims to enhance her clients’ natural beauty while maintaining a personalized approach. Haley is committed to providing exceptional care, ensuring every client has a tailored experience and leaves Bloom feeling their absolute best.
Haley lives in New London with her husband, Ryan, their son, Beau, and their dog, Koda. When she’s not at the medspa, she loves spending time with her family making memories, enjoying outdoor activities, visiting the lake in the summer, and traveling. Haley is always eager to make new connections and is currently accepting new clients. She’s also happy to accommodate later evening appointments if able.

Advanced Practice Esthetician
Abbey grew up in Blaine, Minnesota. She graduated from Blaine High School in 2013. She decided to combine her passion for helping people and her love for the aesthetic and beauty industry, so she studied Cosmetology at The Salon Professional Academy in Fargo, ND. After working for Sam as Bloom’s Med Spa Coordinator, Abbey decided to further her education and went back to school to study Advanced Esthetics. Her favorite services to provide include Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, and Relaxing Facials. Abbey is launching a new service to increase the relaxation she can provide by offering the one-of-a-kind experience of Head Spa Treatments. By being dual licensed in Advanced Esthetics and Cosmetology she can provide an experience that you won’t find at your standard salon.
In her free time, Abbey enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite title is Auntie, she has five nieces that she absolutely adores. She also enjoys reading, watching true crime documentaries, and she has recently discovered a new love for ice fishing.
Abbey prioritizes the well-being of her clients through individualized attention, unmatched skill, and a calming and serene environment. Abbey is currently taking new clients, and would love to discuss your concerns and goals, and help you achieve them!
Business Manager
Erika is from rural Long Prairie, MN, growing up in Southern California and moving to Glencoe, MN as a teenager. She graduated from Glencoe – Silver Lake High School in 2010. She completed her LPN degree at Alexandria Technical and Community College in 2012. She has worked in a few areas of healthcare such as group homes, nursing homes, hospital and subbing at her children’s school with the majority of career being in a clinic setting.
She lives on a working hobby farm with her Husband, Justin, and her 2 kids, Avery and Clayton.
In her spare time you will find Erika making bread, canning, gardening, and caring for her kids and many animals.
Erika does a lot of the background work to keep us all afloat as our Business Manager at all three locations! You may see her in the spa assisting the providers and staff!
Nurse Injector
Kayla is a Pope County Native who moved back to the area after receiving her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She resides in Glenwood, MN, with her husband, Neil, and two children, Chase and Callie. In her spare time, you will find Kayla with her family, whether it’s traveling to her children’s activities, at the lake fishing or relaxing in the sun, watching the MN Vikings, or doing DIY Pinterest projects.
Kayla enjoys working closely with clients to help them look and feel confident and healthy. You will find her in our Glenwood location doing a variety of treatments, whether it’s laser treatments, anti wrinkle injections, microneedling, vitamin injections/infusions, and much more!
Advanced Practice Esthetician
Amber Haapajoki-Hahn is a dedicated professional with a rich and diverse background. After spending 12 years in the sales and financial field, she shifted gears to pursue her passion for wellness and education. Amber currently teaches yoga to 5th-12th graders in her local school district, blending mindfulness and movement to inspire young minds. A year ago, she embraced a new chapter by returning to school in her 40s to follow her dream of a career in advanced esthetics.
An athlete at heart, Amber thrives on staying active and supporting her daughters’ sports endeavors, whether it’s playing alongside them, cheering from the sidelines, or continuously learning new skills. In her free time, she enjoys creating special moments with her husband,
daughters, and their two giant dogs.
Amber’s favorite esthetic services include dermaplaning and customized relaxing facials, where she combines her expertise and love for self-care to help clients feel radiant and refreshed.
